Senior Accountant - Lead

Our growing medical device client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, provide financial insights, and mentor junior accounting staff. Will join a small team of 5 accounting team members in a true mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain general ledger schedules for accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and inventory
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Review accounting work completed by Staff Accountants and provide guidance as needed
• Oversee accounts payable activities, bank reconciliations, and cash reporting
• Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and system-related initiatives
• Support tax filings, audits, and special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
